The US government just passed legislation prohibiting the use of cell phones by train operators, bus drivers and other transportation personnel to insure passenger safety.  The Mini Aardvark and Canary provide an ideal low cost solution allowing for detection of any cell phone activity and logging with time stamp information regarding the activity.  An alert may also be provided via SMS message or e mail to appropriate security personnel.
